The Multifit Limbo Cast/Dressing Protector

This waterproof re-usable Cast/Dressing Protector allows patients to bathe and shower comfortably without worrying about water seepage that could cause damage to casts and dressings. This therefore avoids the need for re-plastering/dressing. Please note however that this product is not recommended for swimming. It is available in a range of depths and lengths, to fit most patient sizes.

Sleeve

It is a self-supporting cover which consists of a durable, flexible, semi-transparent PVC nylon reinforced sleeve with welded seams.

Seal

The nylon-covered neoprene seal grip eliminates the ingress of water when used in normal circumstances in the shower room.

Design

The flexibility of the design, particularly the compliant seal, enables the product to fit a high percentage of patients without the need for a multitude of different models. The range extends from hand to full arm and from lower leg to full leg. There is also a cover for the knee and the elbow which are suitable for showers only.
